Lancaster Teens Appealing Life Sentences
At the beginning of the summer, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Miller v. Alabama that mandatory life sentences for juveniles violate the 8th Amendment ban on cruel & unusual punishment. Since then, six local teens serving life sentences have appealed.
